# PhoneUse > PhoneUse sells a $199 hardware kit that lets you view and control a compatible USB-C phone from a browser, and optionally connect your own AI client through MCP. PhoneUse is an independent retailer; the hardware is third-party and sourced after an order. ## What the kit does - Connects a supported phone's screen and input over USB-C to a browser interface on your network. - Optional MCP service: a compatible AI client you already use can inspect the screen and send taps and typing after you enable it. - Does not include an AI subscription, model credits, or a guarantee that every AI client or phone app works. ## Requirements - The target phone's USB-C port must output video via DisplayPort Alt Mode. USB-C charging alone is not enough. - iPhone: video output plus AssistiveTouch. Per the hardware maker's current guide, supported ranges include iPhone 15 models, iPhone 16 except 16e, and iPhone 17 except 17e. Run "Repair iPhone drag" after each connection. - Android: the exact model must support DisplayPort Alt Mode; some need a permission prompt and an Android-compatible input mode. - Full-featured USB-C cable (normally included), a trusted network, and a modern browser. Remote access needs your own setup such as Tailscale; do not expose the control service to the public internet. ## Buying - Price: $199 USD per kit, tracked shipping included for listed countries. Import duties and VAT are paid by the recipient. - Preorder: hardware is sourced after payment. Dispatch within 30 days of payment or a full refund. Full refund if you cancel before dispatch. - The delivered device or packaging may show the original manufacturer's branding. ## Pages - [Home](https://phoneuse.org/): what the kit is and how the three parts fit together - [How it works](https://phoneuse.org/how-it-works): connect, browser control, and enabling MCP - [Compatibility](https://phoneuse.org/compatibility): phone requirements before you order - [Order](https://phoneuse.org/order): what is included, price, and checkout - [Shipping and returns](https://phoneuse.org/shipping-returns): dispatch, delivery, refunds - [Privacy](https://phoneuse.org/privacy) - [Terms](https://phoneuse.org/terms) Contact: hello@phoneuse.org
